About JAB Innovations
What is JAB Innovations?
JAB Innovations is a 501c3 nonprofit that develops solar-powered microwave pyrolysis reactors. These reactors convert plastic waste into clean, high-performance fuel called Plastoline. We're building the technology to destroy plastic permanently.
Who founded JAB Innovations?
Julian Alexander Brown, a 22-year-old self-taught inventor from Douglasville, Georgia. He built his first reactor at 17 and has developed five iterations of the technology, culminating in the Mark V solar mobile unit.
Is JAB Innovations a real nonprofit?
Yes. JAB Innovations, Inc. is a registered 501c3 tax-exempt organization with the IRS. Our EIN is 41-3420050. You can verify this through the IRS Tax Exempt Organization Search.
Technology
How does the reactor work?
The reactor uses microwave energy inside a sealed vacuum chamber to break plastic down to its hydrocarbon base. The vapor is distilled into gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel alternatives. The entire system is solar-powered with zero combustion, zero emissions, and zero waste byproducts.
What is Plastoline?
Plastoline is a 110-octane fuel produced by our reactor. It has been independently tested by ASAP Labs and verified to be cleaner and higher-performing than standard pump fuel.
What types of plastic can it process?
All common types: bottles, bags, containers, and packaging. No pre-sorting is required.
Isn't making fuel from plastic bad for the environment?
The primary goal is the complete destruction of plastic. Fuel is a useful byproduct. Uncontrolled plastic degradation in the environment produces far more harmful long-term emissions than controlled fuel combustion. The reactor eliminates microplastics and plastic pollution permanently.
Donations
Are donations tax-deductible?
Yes. JAB Innovations is a registered 501c3 nonprofit. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Stripe sends an automatic receipt for every donation.
What does my donation fund?
Donations go directly toward purchasing parts and materials for the Mark V reactor, funding independent lab testing, supporting public demonstrations, and educational outreach.
How do I cancel a recurring donation?
Through the subscription management link in your payment confirmation email, or by contacting info@jabinnovations.org.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. All payments are processed through Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. Your payment details are handled entirely by Stripe and never stored on our systems.
Events
What is The Final Fuel Event?
A live public demonstration of the Mark 4.5 reactor on March 21, 2026 in Birmingham, Alabama. Attendees will see the reactor convert plastic into fuel in real time. There is a $10 entry fee per person.
Will there be future events?
Yes. Julian is scheduled to speak at TEDx NorthernQuarter in Manchester, United Kingdom on September 11, 2026, with additional events planned throughout the year.
